John Morgan
John Morgan is among the most recognized and accomplished plaintiff lawyers in the United States. In 1988, John founded his current firm, Morgan & Morgan, with its original office in Orlando, Florida, with a commitment to representing the people, not the powerful. Morgan & Morgan currently employs 350 attorneys, 305 paralegals and a support staff of nearly 2,000 people, with multiple office locations throughout the country. “For the people” continues to be a way of life for John and the firm.
John lectures across the country on the practice of law. He is the author of two books, titled “You Can’t Teach Hungry…Creating the Multimillion Dollar Law Firm,” and “You Can’t Teach Vision…The Twenty-First Century Law Firm.”
In addition to his successful law practice, John has been an active member of the Florida Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is frequently engaged in efforts to promote state and national legislation that would protect families from corporations and insurance companies.
Michael Leizerman
Michael Jay Leizerman is the co-founder of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA). He concentrates his practice in select catastrophic injury truck collision cases across the country.
Michael is the author of the Thomson West/AAJ three-volume treatise, Litigating Truck Accident Cases. He was the first Chair of AAJ’s Trucking Litigation Group. Michael attended truck driving school and obtaining his Commercial Driver’s License while managing his law practice.
He has taken 14 truck and bus cases to trial in the last decade. He has received record-breaking truck accident settlements and verdicts across the country, including multiple verdicts with punitive damages.
Michael is the author of the Trial Guides book The Zen Lawyer: Winning with Mindfulness, published in 2018. He puts on a series of workshops teaching his Core Method, including meditation, Aikido and theater skills for lawyers (along with co-teachers Jay Rinsen Weik and Joshua Karton).
